Your Aqua Marina SUP board's serial number is a unique identifier that proves ownership, enables warranty registration, and helps Aqua Marina and Aqua Fun provide accurate support and replacement parts. It's a small detail that matters a lot when you need it.
Here's everything you need to know about your board's serial number.
Â
What is the Serial Number?
The serial number is a unique alphanumeric code assigned to your specific board during manufacture. No two boards have the same serial number - it's essentially your board's fingerprint.
It typically looks something like: AM-BM12-22-001234 (format varies by model and year).
Â
Where to Find Your Serial Number
On the Board
The serial number on an Aqua Marina iSUP is printed on a label or embossed directly on the board material. The most common locations are:
•     Near the tail of the board, on the underside (bottom)
•     Adjacent to or near the inflation valve
•     On the deck near the tail pad
Look for a small white or silver label with printed text, or a printed code directly on the PVC material.
💡 Tip: If your board is inflated and you can't find the serial number, try deflating slightly and checking around the valve area and tail underside more carefully - labels can sometimes fold against the material.
Â
On the Packaging & Documentation
Your serial number will also appear on:
•     The cardboard box your board was shipped in (usually on a barcode sticker)
•     The warranty card included in the box
•     Your order confirmation from Aqua Fun
We strongly recommend recording your serial number as soon as you unbox your board and storing it somewhere safe - your phone notes app, a photo, or a document on your computer.
Â
Why Does the Serial Number Matter?
Warranty Registration
Registering your board's serial number with Aqua Marina activates your warranty and ensures you're covered if any manufacturing defects arise. Without the serial number, warranty claims can be delayed or declined.
Warranty Claims & Support
If you need to make a warranty claim or contact Aqua Fun or Aqua Marina for technical support, your serial number allows the team to identify your exact board model, manufacturing batch, and specifications instantly. This speeds up the support process significantly.
Â
Proof of Ownership
In the unfortunate event of theft, a serial number is the best proof that a board belongs to you. Consider photographing your board alongside its serial number label as a simple ownership record.
Â
Replacement Parts
When ordering replacement parts - valves, fins, fin screws, deck fittings, your serial number helps confirm compatibility with your specific board model and year.
Â
What to Do If You Can't Find Your Serial Number
If the label on your board is missing, damaged, or unreadable:
1.   Check your original Aqua Fun order confirmation email - the serial number may be recorded there
2.   Check the board's original packaging if you still have it
3.   Contact Aqua Fun with your purchase date and board model - we may be able to assist in locating your serial number from our records
Â
Record It Now - Before You Need It
Take 30 seconds right now to record your board's serial number. Photograph the label and add it to your phone's camera roll with a note. You'll thank yourself if you ever need it for a warranty claim, insurance, or replacement part order.
